SOUND HEALING THERAPY

There is evidence of Sound Healing in most ancient cultures around the world. What was once thought of as magical powers is increasingly becoming understood and accepted from a scientific viewpoint in modern times - ultrasound is a great example of this. We know from our own experience that sound changes our mood – a happy song on the radio, a child sobbing, a cat purring.

Sound Healing Therapy is the intentional use of sound, using various instruments such as drums, rattle, singing bowls, crystal bowls and tuning forks to vibrationally change our bodies, inviting healing on physical, mental, emotional, and / or spiritual aspects of our being.

Sound Healing Therapy affects all cells in your body and results can include balance of both hemispheres of the brain, cleansing of negative energy and emotions, increase of vital energy flow, creativity, intuition and motivation, stimulation of the circulatory, endocrine and hormonal systems. It is deeply relaxing and stress reducing and can help to recover after illness, traumas and invasive medical treatments

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

Indian Head Massage is rooted in Ayurvedic Medicine that has been practiced in India for over 4,000 years.

Although it is traditionally performed in a seated position, Zoë offers a unique version developed for the massage table. Indian Head Massage utilizes Ayurvedic energy points in addition to gentle massage of the neck, head and face to provide an effective healing treatment. This leaves the whole body feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, energized and balanced.

Added benefits include relief from eyestrain, headaches, congestion / sinusitis, insomnia, improved hair / scalp condition, improved blood circulation to, and lymphatic drainage from, the head / neck.

CRYSTAL HEALING THERAPY

Mankind has used crystals for healing and protection for thousands of years. Crystals have the ability to hold and emit energy vibrations. This affects our electro-magnetic energy fields and subtle bodies (collectively known as our aura) that surround and permeate our physical bodies.

In Crystal Healing Therapy, various crystals and minerals are placed on or around the body. They are placed at sites of pain or dis-ease, on acupuncture points or meridians, or on the Chakras. REIKI

The healing practice of Reiki is an ancient Japanese tradition. Modern day Reiki developed in the mid-1800’s and has become more accepted over the years with some medical establishments now providing Reiki as a complimentary medicine.

A Reiki treatment it very gentle and can involve the positioning of hands gently on, or hovering above, the body. It is also a wonderful modality for receiving from a distance – either within the treatment room or from another location.

Reiki works gently and effectively on physical healing, but it also works on a much deeper level. It can release deep-rooted mental, emotional and psychic blocks or imbalances, which may be causing physical problem(s).

In this way it works at the causal level of illness, not just on the symptoms, by balancing the chakras and meridians in the physical and the energetic bodies, cleansing toxins releasing stress and altering attitudes.

REIKI TRAINING

Reiki is a wonderful modality that encompasses a holistic healing way of life. It enhances, balances and heals mind, body and soul by using spiritual energy to heal our selves, others and our environment. The healing practice of Reiki is an unobtrusive, safe, gentle healing technique for use on yourself or others to treat ailments without using pressure, manipulation or massage.

Reiki is truly holistic as it works on all levels. It works gently and effectively on physical healing, but can release deep-rooted mental, emotional and psychic blocks or imbalances, which may be causing physical problem(s). Reiki also works wonderfully well with other forms of holistic treatments such as massage, reflexology, Indian head Massage etc.

Reiki is passed down from Teacher to Student through an attunement process, as much as, if not more, than it is learned. These attunements open us to allow Reiki to flow, which is a beautiful and sacred process

In western Reiki there are three distinct stages: First Degree / Level, Second Degree / Level and Master / Teacher Degree / Level. These levels go from learning to bring Reiki into the life of you and your loved ones, right up to being able to pass on the teachings and attunements to others. Anyone wishing to take the Reiki path should find a Reiki Master(s) they feel intuitively drawn to as each Reiki Master carries their own individual vibratory level and unique way of working.

I provide Reiki training at all levels in small groups and personalized Reiki training is also available. I teach each level over two days with time in between for practice and integration of your learnings.
